It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Washington Robertson of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Annie May Harris Robertson; and his siblings, Frances Paul, Dovie Robertson, Alfred Robertson and J. C. Robertson.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona Joan Robertson; his sons, George William "Butch" Robertson (Gail), Walter Kurt Robertson (Peggy) and Matthew Daine Robertson (Christy Skinner); his grandchildren, Danielle Bruer (Brad), Lucretia Allen (Cannon), Jacob Robertson (Lashae) and Rachel Turner (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, J. Kimzey (Emmett Nama), Easton Robertson, Anna-Clair Bruer, Colton Allen, Chase Allen and Zoey Robertson.
