He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie L. Baird, Sr. and Elizabeth Nave Baird; and his siblings, Dale, Dicky, Bobby Baird, Sara Baird and Carole Blankenship.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Inman Baird of Chapel Hill, TN; his son Steven Baird (Ronna) of Chapel Hill, TN; his siblings, Larry Baird of Hendersonville, TN and Jane Lester of Watertown, TN; and his aunt Ruby West of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
