We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2020, at the age of 85, Earl Junior Sparks of Chapel Hill, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Thomas and Mary Margaret Shearer Sparks; his wife Ruby Mae Barrett Sparks; his sons, Charles Earl Sparks and Danny Sparks; and his siblings, William Arthur, James, John, Glendon, Delbert Eugene, Sydney Sparks, Sr., Addie Sparks, Nannie Sparks, Lillian Culton and Elsie Still.
He is survived by: his children, Flemon Sparks (Doris) of Springfield, TN, Michael Sparks (Darla) of Richmond, Marcus Sparks (Sherry) of Richmond and Kim Bourland (James) of Chapel Hill, TN; his siblings, Herman Sparks and Coffa Embrey; his grandchildren, Amanda Iler (Jesse), Tyler Sparks (Samantha), Andrea Fitzgerald (Dustin), Rachel Shearon (Thomas), Amber Nava (Abraham) and Corey Sparks; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Hughes (Nathan) and James Mitchell; and his siblings-in-law, James Still, Marquita Sparks and Shelia Sparks. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held at the Pine Grove Pentecostal Holiness Assembly with Rev. Sydney Sparks, Jr. officiating.
