She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Clyde Whaley and Elizabeth Jones Whaley; her husband Edward Clayton Russell; and her brothers, Tommy Glenn Whaley, Rufus Lee Whaley and Ernest Travis Whaley.
She is survived by: her son Charles Edward Russell (Angela) of Murfreesboro, TN; her siblings, Jenny Jett of Lewisburg, TN, Audrie Adams of Lewisburg, TN, Kathy Davis of Lewisburg, TN, Ceretha Pardee of Lewisburg, TN, Nancy Darnell of Eagleville, TN, Milton Gene Whaley, Jesse Thomas Whaley of Lewisburg, TN and Calvin Whaley of Shelbyville, TN; her granddaughter Amber Russell Overcast (Mark) of Murfreesboro, TN; and her great grandchildren, Zora Macie Overcast and Russell Avery Overcast.
