With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Dunaway of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Robert and Anna Lou Gwin Dunaway; his wife Nancy Elizabeth Pack Dunaway; and his siblings, Carolyn Moore, Debbie Gravette and Lelan Dunaway.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Witty of Chapel Hill, TN, Wendy Newsom of Chapel Hill, TN and Martha Sue Hall of Fairview, TN; his siblings, Ida Lou Cole of Mobile, AL and Donald Gravette of Jacksonville, FL; and his grandchildren, Clyde Ragsdale (Vicky), Jennifer Curtis (Josh), Nickie Burns (Jesse) and Elizabeth Newsom (Alex). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
