She was predeceased by: her parents, William Miller and Sybil Slay Miller; and her husband Robert "Bob" Shearer, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Shearer, Jr. (Tiffany) of Chapel Hill and Brian Havrilla (Ashley) of Lewisburg; and her grandchildren, Mya Havrilla, Kalum Jones, Kasey Jones and Korrigan Jones.
