He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Nix; and his siblings, Ruth McMullen, Martin Nix and Charles Nix. He is survived by: his parent Emma Laurel Stinson Nix; his son Buford "Buddy" Nix, Jr. of Nashville, TN; his pet Rosebud; and his significant other Lieber.
