She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Audie and Mollie Fuller Orton; and her siblings, Elsie Hoover, Ann Orton, Betty Graham, Robert Orton and John Orton.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Mathis; her sons, Gary Mathis (Gayle) and Tim Mathis; her grandchildren, Amanda Mathis and James Mathis; her great grandchildren, Britton and Wiley Mathis; and her sister Delphia Orton.
