He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Scott and Florence Ragsdale Scott; his son Eddie Scott; and his siblings, Hazel McGaw, Clifton Scott, Granville Scott and Eddie Eugene "Gene" Scott.
He is survived by: his former wife Juanita Medders; his children, Tonya Mangrum (late Mark), Shanna Cochran (David), Jason Scott (Amanda), Terri Boshers (Jeremy), Crystal Robison (Tim), Charlie Scott (Angie), Rodney Scott (Michelle) and Susie Scott (Jacob White); and his brother Hubert Scott. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
