He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell and Maxine Mangrum Beasley; his stepmother Betty Hughes Beasley; his children, Joseph Russell Beasley and Lisa Beasley Davidson; his granddaughter Brianna Shea Long; and his father-in-law Frank Joseph Leverette.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Leverette Beasley; his children, Candi Beasley Shaver (Jeff) of Lyles and John Aaron Beasley (Rhiannon) of Centerville; his sister Loretta Bolton (Jim) of Racine, WI; his stepsiblings, Don Hughes (Madia) of Fairview and Debbie Fields (late Cubby) of Fairview; and his grandchildren, Scott Davidson, Alex Beasley, Annie Beasley (Annie Bug), Brayden Shaver, Kaleb Shaver, Karson Long, Eli Shaver, Natalie Brewer and Ellie Beasley. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.
