In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Shirley Leon leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Shirley Leon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas "Tom" Gilbert and Addie O'Guin Gilbert; and his brother Dale Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Janey Gilbert; his daughters, Kristi Miller and Kim Brewer; his stepchildren, Susan Sullivan and Jimmy Tidwell; and his sister Joyce Bates. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. - Hickman County (102 West End Ave, Centerville, TN 37033). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
