Phyllis Townsend Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024, at the age of 82, Phyllis Townsend of Centerville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Stevens of Parsons and Edward Stevens; and her husband Billy W. Townsend. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa McGehee (Ronnie) of Star City, Cindy Glover of Star City and Sherri Brooks of Hohenwald, Tennessee; her stepdaughters, Becky Rawdon (Rob) of Hohenwald, Tennessee and Skipper Townsend of Hohenwald, Tennessee; her siblings, Kathy Spence (Philip), Tommy Stevens of Parsons and Robert Stevens (Linda) of Eureka, Missouri; her grandchildren, Jeremy McGehee (Ally), Breanna Chambliss (Kevin), Maegan Brewer (Brandon), Sarah Parker (Wyatt), Jacob Glover, Michael McCullom, Robert Rawdon, Ethan Rawdon (Jennifer), Collin Townsend and David Townsend; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Brewer, Kyleigh Brewer, Saleen Chambliss, Serenity Chambliss, Navaeh and Diamond.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. - Lewis County (20 W 2nd St, Hohenwald, TN 38462). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
