He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Dee and Louesia Janie Pendergrass Buttrey; and his brothers, Brian Kirby Buttrey, Sterling Dee Buttrey, Jr. and Steve Buttrey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Phyllis Deaton of Bon Aqua, Debbie Castillo of Bon Aqua and Jason Buttrey (Sun) of Florida.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (10244 New Hope Rd, Bon Aqua, TN 37025).
