She was predeceased by: her parents, James A Jones and Elizabeth Walker Jones; her husband William M Murphree Jr.; her son William M. Murphree Ill (Bill); her sisters, Martha Jones Baker and Elizabeth Jones Hayes; and her sons-in-law, Danny T. Bates and Sidney L. Allen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Murphree Bates of Waverly and Betty Murphree Allen Langley (Gene) of Humboldt; her daughter-in-law Jan James Murphree of Franklin; her grandchildren, Heath T Bates (Kara), Austin M Bates (Kathy), Justin Allen (Tracy), Blake T Allen (Heather), Katy Murphree Gides (John) and Jim Murphree; and her great grandchildren, Logann, Kendall, Aubrey Jayne Bates, Hallie, Cade, Acie, Gage and Porter Allen.
