Though Mary Cecilia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Norton and Helen Norton; and her children, Johnny Schneider, Tony Schneider, Jerry Schneider and Aileen Petty.
She is survived by: her sister Sue Vandervort of Tyler; and her son Richard Petty Jr. of New Caney. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
