She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonnie Lee McCoy and Clifton Gordon; her husband Roy Goins; and her children, Kathryn Lee Yates, Jackie Dale Allen and Jeffery Neal Allen.

She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Sullivan Garrett; her brother Norman Gordon (Denise); and her granddaughters, Jenny Luster (Ceneka Shaw) and Jill Moss (Randy). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
