He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey Cowan Jenkins and Hazel Ozell Loveless Jenkins; and his siblings, Dorothy Simmons, Peggy Gardner and Toby Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Ila Chessor Jenkins; his children, Bettina Horner (Lonnie), Regina Elkins (Mike) and Jonathan Jenkins (Kim); his grandchildren, Kayla McCord (Michael), Ethan Horner (Gabby), Griffin Elkins (Abby), Adley McKinnon (Jack), Weston Elkins, Kilee Jenkins, Anna Kate Jenkins and Jase Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Callan McCord, Amalie McCord and Hayes Horner; and his sister Betty Chessor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Twomey Church of Christ (65 TN-100, Centerville, TN 37033). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
