He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Willie" Tom and Lola Mae Murray Gilbert; and his siblings, Fredia Bennett, Conrad Gilbert (Pete), Gerald Gilbert and Walter Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Faye Rosson Gilbert; and his siblings, Ann McNabb Bryant, Shirley Mayberry, Linda Halbrooks, John, Bobby, Leon, Samuel, Ronnie, Larry, Grady and Dwayne. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. - Hickman County (102 West End Ave, Centerville, TN 37033). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
