With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harriet Elizabeth Bruce (Centerville, Tennessee), who passed away on April 17, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Addison Barry and Elizabeth Backus Hazard Barry; her son John Edward Bruce, Jr.; and her brother Henry Clay Barry. She is survived by: her husband John Bruce; her children, James Barry Bruce, Sr. and Tina Marie Rutherford; and her brothers, Jay Barry and Allen Barry.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Mrs. Bruce's memory be made to Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Hickman County Humane Society or Breast Cancer Awareness.
