She was predeceased by: her parents, Dee Walker and Lee Walker; her husband Joe Morris; her daughter Kimberly Sams; her daughter-in-law Dianne Sams; and her sister Shirley Hartnitt.

She is survived by: her children, Lucky Sams, Zetty Ashley (Tim) and Teresa Inhofe (Wayne); and her grandchildren, Lucas Sams, Shiloh Sams, Jason Finney, Kimberly "Pooh" Sublett, TJ Ashley, Daniel Ashley and Carrie Farris. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
