He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Kirk Sr. and Gayle Etta Howell Kirk; and his brothers, Garold Allgood, Norman Allgood and Harold Allgood.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kirk; his daughters, Glory Heymans, Lyn Freshour (Daryl) and Christie Delaney (Mark); and his grandchildren, Krystal Jenkins (Andy), Arend Heymans (Lucy), Tylor Heymans (Shelby White), Gavin Mayo (Jessica), J. J. Gonzalez, Jessica Villareal Ruddle (Sean), Jon Villareal (Emma), Jennifer Villareal Jones (Matthew) and Joseph Villareal. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
