She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Gordon and Willie Poore Gordon; her husband Austin; her stepchildren, Barry McNabb and Karen Johnston; and her grandchild Jade Johnston.

She is survived by: her sister Louise Gordon; her daughter-in-law Susan McNabb; and her grandchildren, Beth Nelson, Angie Schindler, Brandyn Gasvoda, Kelsey Johnston, Nicholas McNabb and Lindsey Bailey. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
