She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Austin Bates and Mattie Mae Underhill Bates; and her sister Donna Kay Dye. She is survived by: her child Kristen Gardner (Wade); and her grandchildren, Dylan King (Jacqueline), Courtney Pratt, Braxton and Jenna Gardner (Bates).
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Charles L Nickell Memorial Park (188 Sula T Nickells St, Centerville, TN 37033).
