She was predeceased by: her parents, Brown Lee McClain and Georgia Edith Coble McClain; her husband Bill Davis; her sisters, Mary Luther, Nancy Roder (Elijah) and Rebecca Jane McClain; and her grandson Evan Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Brad Davis (Monica) of Centerville and Lynn Nelms (Walter "Bubba") of Germantown; her brother-in-law Don Luther of Centerville; her grandchildren, Louis Nelms (Macy), Carter Nelms, Jackson Nelms (Kristie), Savannah York (Austin), Barrett Davis (Holly) and Lauren Messick; and her great grandchildren, Madden, Davis, Everett, Charlie, Emmy, Birdie and Savannah. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
