It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Boone of Celina, Tennessee, born in Irvine, Kentucky, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John C. Lockett and Lucy Ann Kirby Lockett; her husband Ados Boone; her daughters, Judy Bailey-Jones of Rockwood, Tennessee and Donna Dowell; her grandchildren, Shea Bailey of Austin, Texas, Michele Dowell Saffelle of Cary and Robert Dowell of Knoxville, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Carson Bailey, Alex Saffelle, Kate Saffelle, Andrew Saffelle and Michael Dowell; her great great grandchild Willow Bailey of Cookeville, Tennessee.; and her brothers, Darrell Lockett of Weatherford, Texas, George Lockett of Pensacola, Florida and Frank Lockett of Irvine.
In view of the viral pandemic, there will be only a private service before Lillian is interred in the columbarium of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in North Myrtle Beach.
