He was predeceased by: his parents, Bedford Jones and Lena May Keith Jones; and his wife Thelma Dean Jones. He is survived by: his children, John Wayne Jones of Gainesboro, TN and Christina Burgess (Ray) of Gainesboro, TN; and his grandsons, Eric Jones, Ethan Burgess and Elijah Burgess.
