He is survived by: his mother Alice Poindexter; his brother Billy Poindexter; and his nieces and nephews, Carrie Westmoreland, Monica Smith, Felicia Poindexter, Jodi Sue Poindexter, Spencer Poindexter and Bobby Seth Poindexter. He is also survived by 5 great-nephews and 3 great-nieces.
