She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Fowler Poindexter and Elise Ann Moredock Poindexter; her husband Clarence Buford; her brothers, Bennie Poindexter, James and Joe Pindexter; and her grandson Daniel Edward Buford.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Edward Buford, Ronald Edwin Buford, John Thomas Buford and Jimmy Martin Buford; her grandchildren, Betty Ann Sutton and William Thomas Buford; and her sister Sandra Smith.
