He is survived by: his grandsons, Christopher Carter, Phillip Mason, Jason Ellis, Andy Ellis, Jason Martin and Bradley Callis; his wife Annie Rebecca McIntosh Carter; his grandchildren, Candace Carter and Chris Baker; his great grandchildren, Angel Grace Winski, Bret Mason and Paula Elain Mason; his children, Edgar Carter (Joy) of Royal Oak, MI, Steve Carter (Wanda) of Springfield, Faye Ellis (Aubrey) of Greenbrier, Wanda Mason (Tommy) of Springfield, Gail Jenkins (Don) of Cedar Hill and Penny Callis of Springfield; and his sister Carrie Mae Bly of Smyrna. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
