She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vera Patterson Hayes and Robert Dewey Hayes; her brother Jimmy Wayne Hayes; her son-in-law Ricky Dietsch; her husband James Batts; her daughters, Susan Dietsch and Madline Balthrop; her brother Robert Hayes (Denise); and her grandchildren, Quenten Vanderford (Brandy), Mandy Vanderford (Seth), Jason, Eric and Danny Dietsch. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
