It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Milton Hampton Sr. (Cedar Hill, Tennessee), born in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 2, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Nina Hampton; his daughter-in-law Lindy Hampton; his stepchildren, Joe Vick (Jean), Van Vick (Candye), Max Vick (Judy), Patty Rollins (Robert) and Ben Brinkley (Stacey); and his sister Carrie Wise.
He is survived by: his wife Marietta Hampton; and his children, John Hampton, Jr. (Pam), Darrell Hampton (Kim), Eddie Hampton (Carol) and Jeanie Brown (Gene). He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
