She was predeceased by: her parents, D. F. "Bill" Bess and Cora Binkley Bess; her husband Earl Winters; her stepmother Cynthia "Tommie" Bess; her brother George Bolton Bess; and her daughter-in-law Belinda Winters.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Lyons, Rick Winters, Mark Winters (Linda) and Tommy Winters (Judy); her sister Audrey Greer; and her grandchildren, Andy Winters, Cortney Gunn (Chris), Matthew Winters, Justin Winters (Jennifer), Allison Jackson (Charlie) and Tara Winters. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
