He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Wood and Margaret Johnson Wood; his daughter Theresa Wood; and his brother Robert Wood. He is survived by: his wife Janet Clark Wood; his children, Donald Wood, Jr. (Jennifer) and Brenda Ratliff; his siblings, Richard Wood (Betty), Virginia Coey and Judy Elliott; and his grandchildren, Jamie Weatherspoon, Michelle Ratliff, Andrea Wood, Andrew Wood, Autumn Wood and Emily Wood. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
