She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Bryant and Ruby May Cohea; her husband Joseph Ray Norris; her son Joe Goodfred; and her stepsons, Jeffrey Norris and Ronald Norris.

She is survived by : her children, Jeremiah Norris, Angela McWorter, Precious Norris, Breanna Norris and Joyce Norris; and her sisters, Terry Lawson (Sam), Deborah Baker (Marshall) and Tina Staton (Bo).
