She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Allen and Exie Allen (Britt); her husband Everett Edsel Prater; her children, Edna Prater Perry and Ronald Prater; and her grandson Wade Holladay.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Prater of Jackson, Phillip Prater of Cedar Grove and Billy Prater of Cedar Grove; and her grandchildren, Melony Perry, Brian Prater (Kimberly), Robin Prater Wood and Luke Holladay. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
