He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Hays and Patricia Williamson Hays; and his brothers, Larry Hays, Jimmy Hays and Billy Hays.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Hays of Cedar Grove, TN and Matthew Hays (Lauren) of Lavinia, TN; his stepson Cameron Fortner of Cedar Grove, TN; his brother Ricky Hays of Trezevant, TN; and his grandchildren, Justice Fortner, Olivia Hays, Draven Maness, Owen Hays and Sebastian Jones.
