He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Lee "Shorty" and Beulah Mae Balentine (Miller); and his siblings, Lydia Kate Balentine, Frances Louise Bryant, Kathryn Rosielee Morgan, William Lee Balentine, Bill Neal Balentine and James Kelly Balentine.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Balentine Hunter (Joe) of Ashland City and Michael Balentine (Theresa) of Trenton; his siblings, Marilyn Gooch (Danny) of Yuma, Linda Holifield of Huntingdon, Shirley Grooms of Camden, Bob Balentine (Donnie) of Huntingdon, Steve Balentine (Linda) of Greenfield and Fred Balentine (Mary) of Greenfield; his nieces, Kay Grooms and Brenda Williams; his grandchildren, Nick Hunter (Lara), Dustin Balentine (Jennifer) and Cecelia Balentine; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Hunter, Sophie Hunter and Leia.
