He is survived by: his wife Faye; his daughters, Christy Maxwell and Tonya McEwen; his granddaughters, Neeli and Lanie McEwen; and his siblings, Elijah "Junior" Pirtle (Kay), Mable Powell (Billy) and Jeanie Whitesell (Hank). He is also survived by four nieces, 4 nephews and many extended family and friends.
