She was predeceased by: her husband Herlan Alvin "Buster" Sims; her sons, Albert Sims and Alvin Sims; her siblings, Clarence "Tincey" Moss, Sam "Humpy" Moss, Pete Moss, Fred "Shortie" Moss and Jean "Bessie" Gilbert; her great grandchild Jeffrey Sims; and her daughter-in-law Ruby Sims.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Sims of Gallatin, Linda Hale (Ronnie) of Cross Plains and Jean Crowder of Gallatin; her sisters, Bula "Cricket" Lackey of Castalian Springs and Lula "Biggie" Hesson of Gallatin; her grandchildren, Tammy Carpenter, Scotty Sims, Lisa Heyn (Richy) and Misti Gregory; and her great grandchildren, Cody Carpenter and Hunter Gregory.
