He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Hooper Jenkins and Pauline Barton Jenkins; and his siblings, Neil Ward Jenkins and Judith Greer (David). He is survived by: his wife Georgia Gilmore Jenkins; his children, James Barton "Bart" Jenkins, Jr. (Loren) of Chattanooga and Vickie Jenkins Rogers (Byron) of Portland; his brothers, Ben Howell Jenkins (Sue) of Jonesboro, GA and Michael Jenkins (Cindy) of Lafayette; his sister-in-law Pauline Jenkins of Gallatin; and his grandchildren, Zachary Rogers, Grant Jenkins and Turner Jenkins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gallatin (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:20 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corum Hill Church.
