He was predeceased by: his father James William Goins; and his grandparents, Onie, Nancy Elsie Paul Goins, Arlie and Emma Williamson Brantley.
He is survived by: his mother Geneva Brantley Goins; his sister Lisa Goins Mahooty (DeVerrell); his nephew Benjamin Mahooty (Amy); his great-nephews, Nathan and Isaiah Mahooty; and his aunts, Dorothy McCreary, Juanita Hellard and Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous Cousins, other relatives and friends.
