He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Johnson and Clara Clepper Johnson; his wife Frances Johnson; his brothers, Carl and Jay Johnson; his sisters-in-law, Patricia, Mildred Nuspliger and Helen Hubbs; and also, Robert and Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Derrick Johnson (Meredith Andersonville) and Tiffany VanScoy (Randy Conroe); and his nephews, Brian Nuspliger Osaka, Brad Johnson, Greg Johnson, Brian Johnson, Mark Johnson of New York and Marv Johnson of Colorado.
Although he battled Alzheimer's in his final years, he never lost his sense of humor and fun-loving nature.
