It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonny Lay of Caryville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Lay and Maggie Lay (Miller); and his brother Lester Lay. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lay of Caryville; his children, Jerry Lay and Sherry Howard; and his siblings, Silas Lay, Jesse Lay, Brenda Hicks, Linda Whitaker, Sandy Keever and Lisa Whatlington. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family has stated that mask are optional by anyone attending the funeral services.
