He is survived by: his wife Anna Leonard Hayes of Caryville; his children, Walter Hayes and Tracy Long; his grandchildren, Josh Hayes, Brittany Hayes, Brandon Bowman and April Carr; and his great grandchildren, Jaelyn Hayes and Kaysin Hayes.
