With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mollie Elizabeth Russell of Caryville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Crabtree and Ethel Crabtree; her siblings, Harvey, Lester, Condy Crabtree, Shelby Coleman, Lourine Sweeney and Mabel Fraley; and also Albert Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha (Rick Humphrey), Deborah Russell, David (Emily Russell) and Albert Russell; her grandchildren, Scott (Andrea Russell), Amanda Johnson, Jamie Russell, Kelly Cooper, Jay Russell, Casey Cooper, Keith Chapman, Sierra (Dylan Thompson) and Sean Humphrey; her great grandchildren, Tate Russell and Reese Russell; her great great grandchild Wrenley Fontana; and her siblings, Gearline Shelley, Brenda Berry and Bobby Crabtree.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cross-Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (300 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Cross-Smith Chapel Cross-Smith Funeral Home (300 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Campbell Memorial Gardens (361 Memorial Dr, Jacksboro, TN 37757).
