She was predeceased by: the fathers of children, Paul Newport and A. C.; her granddaughter Debbie Newport Cox; her siblings, Alfred Bud Bowling and Mabel Silcox; her parents, Dillard Bowling and Lydia Ward Bowling; and her grandparents, Alf and Sabra Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Newport, Darlene Coleman and Nina Wellmann; her grandchildren, Denise, Angie, Greg, Christopher and Eddie (Littleman); and her sister Reba Adkins.
