He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Walter Lindsay and Bertha Isbell; and his sons, Edward Ray Lindsay and Richard Curtis Lindsay. He is survived by: his wife Earnestine McCartt Lindsay; his sister Eleanor Irene Lindsay McCartt; and his children, Debbie Metcalf (Mylon) of Union Grove, AL, Jeff Lindsay of Nashville, TN, Joe Lindsay of Huntsville, AL, Jim Lindsay (Rosie) of Decatur, AL and Katy Sullivan (Aidan) of Huntsville, AL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
