He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Adkins and Eva Adkins (Woods); his daughter Christy Adkins; and his siblings, Harold Adkins, Juanita McGhee, Brenda Owens and Jean Rector.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Adkins (Beverly) of LaFollette, Brandon Adkins of Caryville and Eva Bruce of Jacksboro; his brother Chester Adkins (Judy) of Huntsville, TN; and also Rodney Green of Jacksboro. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, & 3 great grandchildren.
