It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Draughn (Caryville, Tennessee), born in Jacksboro, Tennessee, who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldman Lindsay and Georgia Lindsay (Gross); her daughter Sherry McKamey; her grandchildren, Johnny Ray Draughn and Amber Dick; and her sisters, Libby Tapp, Dixie Crabtree and Mediann Lasley.
She is survived by: her husband John R. Draughn; her children, Johnny Draughn (Betty) of LaFollette, Steve Draughn (Tammy) of Clinton, Joey Draughn (Amber) of Duff, Greg Draughn (Sue) of LaFollette, Connie Gibson (Brian) of LaFollette and Teresa Gibson (David) of Jacksboro; her sisters, Mary Ellen Wallace, Belvey Chapman, Martha Swafford and Louise Adkins; her grandchildren, Cecilia, Victoria, Constance, Eric, Michelle, Josh, Daniel, Tiffany, Natashia, Megan, Alisha, Kristen, Isaiah, Connor, Cailyn, Michael, Anna Ruth and Chasity; and her close friends, Momma Connie, Tony, Liz and Donnie. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
