Gipson III of Indiana and Kim of Joplin, Missouri; his siblings, Paul "Gene" Gipson Jr. (Lois Ann), Porter Gipson (Daphne) of Indiana, Myona Hutson and Ricky; and his grandchildren, Katlyn Carpenter, Alex of Alcoa, Paul Gipson IV, Lincoln Gipson, Logan Gipson, Gabe Pineda and Joshline Gonzalez.
